Lindsay Birkhimer
Lindsay joined UDS in 2022. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from West Virginia University. Originally from Pennsylvania, Lindsay has been in south Florida working in the field of landscape architecture for the last seven years and providing landscape designs for a variety of projects. At UDS, Lindsay works on all aspects of the design, including site layout, landscape and hardscape. Outside of work, Lindsay is an avid devotee of cross fit and a dog lover.
Alicia Boucher
Alicia joined UDS in July of 2023. She earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. Alicia has experience in sustainable landscape design, graphic rendering, and environmental science. Outside of work, you can find her enjoying the outdoors, or at home relaxing with her two beloved cats.
Helen Cohen, PLA
Helen has been with UDS since 2005. Helen has earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Michigan. She has been an active member of the American Society of Landscape Architects since chairing their annual state conference in 2017 and currently is the Member-at-Large Education and Research for the Florida Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects.
Michelle Cuetara
Michelle joined UDS in 2006, after working for several years in the interior design and architecture industry. She has earned an undergraduate degree in Architecture from Palm Beach State College and has since managed and participated in a broad spectrum of both public and private entitlement projects throughout South Florida. Michelle has extensive experience in creative site planning and landscape design with a focus on enhancement of the public realm for master planned and mixed-use developments.
Nate Moehring
Nate joined UDS in 2023. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from Ohio State University and is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Nate has experience in residential and commercial landscaping, including landscape and hardscape design, digital rendering. At UDS, Nate prepares site plans, graphics and is passionate about constructing creative design solutions. Outside the office, Nate enjoys fishing, kayaking, and anything where he can be in and around the water.
Tyler Peterson, PLA
Tyler joined UDS in 2018 after spending 12 years working for large multidisciplinary consulting firms. has earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from Ball State University in 2006. He is a Registered Landscape Architect with extensive experience in landscape and hardscape design, construction documentation, digital rendering, and graphic design. Outside of the office, Tyler enjoys traveling with his wife Kim, usually to participate in long distance running events (he has completed 13 marathons and nine ultramarathons, including five 100-mile runs).
Marco Ramirez
Marco joined UDS in 2021. He has earned a Bachelor of Architecture from La Gran Colombia University, Master of Science in Urban Law from Externado University and a Master in Urban and Regional Planning from Autonoma University. He is a Member of the American Planning Association - Florida Chapter with an extensive background in Urban Planning and Landscape Architectural projects with public and private corporations across Latin America and the U.S. Marco is an avid coffee lover who enjoys landscape photography and podcasting.
Carl Salwan
Carl joined UDS in 2022. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the American University of Beirut, and a Master’s Degree in Science in Sustainable Urbanism from the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London. Carl has experience in sustainable urban development design and has extensive graphic skills that aid in presenting his concepts. At UDS, Carl prepares plans and graphics that represent the proposed plan of development. Carl enjoys travelling, photography, hiking and spending time with friends when he is not in the office.
Jad Salwan
Jad joined UDS in 2022. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the American University of Beirut, and a Master’s Degree in Science in Strategic Entrepreneurship and Innovation from King’s College, London. At UDS, Jad uses his strong design and graphic skills to visually explore development opportunities and represent their influence on the physical environment. When not in the office, Jad pursues his hobby of photography, and enjoys his time in the outdoors travelling, exploring and hiking with friends.
Wendy Van Oordt
Wendy joined UDS in 2019. She has earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Ricardo Palma University in Lima, Peru where she started working in the landscape industry in 2015. She has experience as a construction site supervisor for retail, medical, commercial and residential properties. In her free time, Wendy enjoys being with her family and relaxing in her beautiful backyard.
Janelle Vinson
Janelle joined UDS in 2014. She has earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture and a Masters in Environmental Design from Michigan State University and is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Outside the office, Janelle enjoys traveling to different parts of the world--she has even biked across the United States! When she isn’t searching for the perfect cup of coffee you will find her in the great outdoors and volunteering.
